What is Google AdSense?

A lot of people hear about Google AdSense but are not really sure what it exactly is.

"AdSense is an advertisement application run by Google. Website owners can enroll in this program to enable text, image, and more recently, video advertisements on their
websites. These advertisements are administered by Google and generate revenue on either a
per-click or per-impression basis. Google beta tested a cost-per-action service, but discontinued it in October 2008 in favor of a DoubleClick offering (also owned by Google)." - wiki

Google AdSense is basically the links you see when people advertise with Google. The picture below is of Google AdSense.

If you have your own website or blog you can create a free Google AdSense account, create your own AdSense widget and copy and paste the widget code on your website. Now whenever someone visits your website and clicks on one of your Google ads link you will make money. You only make a little per click but if you have a lot of visitors you can make a lot.

Google AdSense could be one of many solutions in your "I Need Money In This Recession" times.
